Positive: I booked this lodge with family and we had a great time! Location is great and easily accessible from Highway 11 and not far from Huntsville and Bracebridge. Staff was pleasant though not always available (this is a number you can call should you need someone after hours.) No breakfast but David's general store down the road can provide that. It's best you bring your own breakfast items, though, and the front lobby area has a Keuring, toaster, and air fryer for your needs. Bring cups, plates and utensils, though. Rooms were great and comfortable. I would suggest the place give some tlc to the place; fresh coat of paint, a more through cleaning, ensure that lights work (some of mine weren't), make sure the fireplace works, and some general tidiness and repairs are done. It's a lodge, not the Marriott, so you should keep your expectations in check; still, the pricing was reasonable for the area and I would visit again! Place just needs some tlc and we're golden!
